QuestionWhy is switching frequency important?
AnswerSwitching frequency is the speed in which a sensor detects an object, resets, and senses another object. For example, if a sensor has a switching frequency of 100 Hz (100 cycles peer second) it can detect a maximum of 100 objects per second. This is very critical in many applications such as gear rotation measurement.
