The MDM-TEL industrial serial modem has the features to meet your application requirements in a straight-forward manner. You won’t need to concoct a way to make it work. The MDM-TEL uses an industrial version of the standard PC modem chip set, so it supports the full set of AT commands and features. The contact-initiated dialing feature gives the MDM-TEL functionality that is not found in most modem products, such as the ability to dial a pager.
