DL205 PLC - Remote I/O - Serial

With the DirectLOGIC DL205 programmable logic controller (PLC), remote I/O applications are easy to do with remote I/O bases that can be located up to 1,200 meters (at 19.2 K baud) from the local base. We offer both serial and Ethernet Remote I/O master and slave modules. Serial products include those listed below.

D2-250-1, and D2-260 DirectLOGIC CPU's include built-in remote I/O master

In addition to providing outstanding communications capabilities, the bottom port on the D2-250-1 or D2-260 CPU's can also act as a master for remote I/O networks. If you need extra I/O at a remote distance from the CPU, you can use this port to add up to seven of our remote DL205 base or Terminator I/O slave stations.
