Power Supply Choices!

Save Time and Money - No Power Supply Needed (when connecting to our PLCs) Most DirectLogic PLCs have a modular RJ12 communication port that the C-more Micro - Graphic panel can use for communications and power. In this configuration, no external power is needed.

Optional Power Adapter:
If you are connecting to another brand of PLC, or to a non-RJ12 port on an AutomationDirect PLC, you will need one of the optional snap-on 24 VDC power adapter units. These units require an external 12 to 24 VDC power supply and convert the 12 to 24 VDC to the 5 VDC required by the Micro-Graphic panel.

Two adapter models are available:

  • 24 VDC power adapter only (EA-MG-P1)
  • 24 VDC power adapter with 15-pin D-sub RS-232/RS- 422/485 serial port used to connect to a PLC, which allows the panel’s built-in port to be free for project development (EA-MG-SP1)
NOTE: The recommended DC power supplies to power either DC Power Adapter, are Part No. PSP24-024S or PSP24-024C.

Required when using third party PLCs, or when using 24 VDC power instead of the 5 VDC supplied from the RJ12 connector of a DirectLOGIC PLC . Panel supports Micro-Graphic expansion options.
